Analistas esperam um ano melhor
Se os últimos anos foram difíceis para o mercado de Tecnologia da Informação, 2017 promete ser o começo de uma recuperação. A Gartner, empresa de consultoria
americana, projeta que os gastos com TI no Brasil devem atingir R$ 236,1 bilhões, um aumento de 2,9% comparado ao de 2016. Os analistas dizem que a estabilidade do câmbio será fundamental para as empresas investirem em atualização de tecnologia, à medida que a economia for dando sinais de estabilidade.
Segundo Luis Anavitarte, vice-presidente de Pesquisa do Gartner, os investimentos no segmento de PCs, tablets, celulares e impressoras devem atingir R$ 46 bilhões, um aumento de 5,3%. Já as despesas com software irão chegar a R$ 14,6 bilhões, crescendo 7,8%. Gastos com serviços de TI alcançarão R$ 55,4 bilhões, um aumento de 6,3%, e os serviços de comunicação devem somar R$ 113,3 bilhões em 2017, bem próximo ao do ano anterior. Em muitos aspectos, diz Anavitarte, o Brasil segue a tendência dos gastos globais com TI, que devem crescer 2,9% em relação a 2016, totalizando US$ 3,4 trilhões.
Software e serviços de TI serão a chave para o desenvolvimento que Gartner chama de “infraestrutura da civilização”, uma nova plataforma digital que se estenderá para além da infraestrutura tradicional de TI utilizando novas tecnologias atípicas para a área.
As oito companhias abertas listadas na B3 fecharam 2016 com queda de 17,7% no lucro, que somou R$ 351,7 milhões. O recuo na lucratividade atingiu cinco empresas do setor incluindo as maiores como Totvs e Valid; duas apresentaram lucro (Link e CSU Cardsyst) e uma teve um prejuízo menor no ano passado (DTCOM-Direct).

Analysts expect a better year
If the last few years have been difficult for the Information Technology market, 2017 promises to be the beginning of a recovery. Gartner, an American consulting firm, projects IT spending in Brazil to reach R$ 236.1 billion, a 2.9% increment compared to the one of 2016. Analysts say that exchange rate stability will be critical for companies investing in technology upgrades as the economy is showing signs of stability.
According to Luis Anavitarte, vice president of the research sector at Gartner, investments in the segment of PCs, tablets, mobile phones and printers should reach R$ 46 billion, a 5.3% increase. Software expenses will reach R$ 14.6 billion, growing by 7.8%. Expenditures on IT services will reach R$ 55.4 billion, an increase of 6.3%, and communication services are expected to add up to R$ 113.3 billion in 2017, quite close to the previous year. In many ways, says Anavitarte, Brazil follows the trend of global spending on IT, which is expected to grow by 2.9% over 2016, totaling US$ 3.4 trillion.
Software and IT services will be key to the development that Gartner calls the “infrastructure of civilization”, a new digital platform that will extend beyond traditional IT infrastructure using new atypical technologies for the area.
The eight companies listed in B3 closed 2016 with an 17.7% drop in profit, which totaled R$ 351.7 million. The decline in profitability hit five companies in the sector including the largest, such as Totvs and Valid; Two showed a profit (Link and CSU Cardsyst) and one had a minor loss last year (DTCOM- Direct).
