Secondary Assembly
On Wednesday 24th May during Secondary Chapel, Harvest celebrated Isabel Wibrow and Amelia Bugg for their sporting achievements and we farewelled our German Exchange Student, Johanna Breithaupt. The College has thoroughly enjoyed having Johanna in our Harvest Community and she will be missed, especially by the Year 12 class.
        Year 3/4R Moonta Mines Museum
  On Wednesday 31st May, the Year 3/4 class went
on an excursion to the Moonta Mines Museum to research ideas for our special project ‘The Magic and the Mystery of Life on the Mines’ in collaboration with Makers Empire and the National Trust of South Australia. Students are looking forward to working on their projects before printing them on the 3D printer Harvest received for being part of this project! Students’ printed projects will be displayed during
a special exhibition in September at the Museum. Watch this space!
   Reconciliation Week
 On Thursday 1st June, the Secondary College acknowledged Reconciliation Week with an assembly where Mrs. Margaret Martin spoke to the students about the importance of reconciliation, and her experience growing up as a First Nations woman. Poems by Oogderoo Noonuccal and Hyllus Maris were read by Jamison Rudd and Mia Dunstan of Year 8. Mia Dunstan was also presented with her badge for being the newest member of the secondary student representative council (SRC).
