Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica

After wandering around Trastevere to relax from our flight,
we’re ready to start exploring Rome – and our first stop is the
Vatican.

We meet our guide, Dr. Dino Margiotta,
Tuesday morning at the Caffe' Vaticano, a
popular meeting place for tours across the

street from the Vatican Museums. Getting
there will also be our first ride on a Rome
bus.
With Dino’s PH.D. in history from the University of Rome, his
four-hour private guided tour through the museum, Sistine

Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica will give us a unique perspective
of the hundreds of years of history in the Vatican.
