1. The University Research and Development Services has an approved Manual

of Operations whichservesas aguidefor theimplementation, monitoring,
evaluation andutilizationor research results/outputs.

2. TechnologytransferandIntellectual Property Rights(IPR)
Institutional mechanisms for technology transfer of mature technologies developed

by the University are promoted through the establishment of technology ownership
and intellectual property right regimes for the protection of the creative works of
scientists andresearchersintheUniversity.

3. Regular conduct ofAgencyIn-HouseReview
An integral component of the Monitoring & Evaluation of ongoing and terminated

researches is the regular conduct of R&D Agency In-House Review (AIHR) by the
University. The AIHR is done in coordination with the pre-AIHRreviews of the

different ISUcampuses andclusters.

4. Capability Building
Developing and further enhancing the R&D workforce through participation in conferences,

seminarsandworkshops.
