EDUCATION=
SUCCESS.

The Chamber’s Business Education Partnership (BEP) was formed to create
a program that would bridge the gap between the business community and
schools. This project is a key component of the Chamber’s focus on education
and workforce. The BEP is a non-profit 501(c)(3) and strives to match the needs
of employers and educators. Special events
are held throughout the year to promote the
importance of education and a trained workforce
development. Special focus is placed on the
“Work Ready Community” status, Girls STEM,
KY Leadership Institute for School Principals,
Community Scholarship Fund, and infrastructure needs to improve our
educational attainment for all ages.
A new program is being added called the West
KY LAUNCH Experience. This event is a hands-on
career expo for eighth graders. Students have the
ability to explore many of the careers available in
our area through interactive exhibits that showcase
opportunities in some of the high-growth, high-
demand career sectors in Western Kentucky.

Our goal is to assist our members and to help our
community grow and be prosperous. Everything
we do is with our membership in mind.
