Paducah Young Professionals

CONNECT. ENGAGE. DEVELOP. Paducah Young
Professionals (PYP) was established to provide social
and professional opportunities for emerging leaders
ages 21-40. The goal of PYP is to connect, engage
and develop our community’s current network of young
professionals and entice others to relocate to our community.
Since its formation in late 2015, the Paducah Young
Professionals organization has grown to more than 200 members strong!
PYP is composed of energetic leaders and future leaders who are committed to
growing our community through activity and service.
Through networking, professional development and community service, PYP
members can meet and connect with established leaders and like-minded profes-
sionals. PYP works to enhance the lives and careers of our members by providing
access to people, places and opportunities through unique programs and events.

Paducah’s young professionals population is growing!
Recent census data showed that among the nation’s 508 micropolitan* areas,
Paducah showed an 8% growth in total residents ages 25-34. This ranked
Paducah 68th in the nation in this demographic.

Paducah Intern Initiative – NETWORK. INFORM. DEVELOP. ENJOY. The goal
of the Initiative is to introduce our area’s summer interns to the community and
our network of young professionals. The long term goal is to build our future
workforce, fill our community’s open jobs and grow our community.

*A micropolitan area contains a core urban area of at least 10,000 but no more than
50,000 in population.
