INAUGURAL CAMPER TRAILER OVERNIGHTER

Set off on our inaugural trip with our newly acquired camper trailer (thank you Gareth!),
on Saturday 9th March.

Headed to Running Creek Camping, just north of Woodford, which is the meeting place
for the Conondale mini trip in April. We now know where to meet.

Close to home only 1 hour drive north. First time ever towing… Mum and I had practiced
in quiet streets around home, but never in traffic or on the freeway. I towed the trailer up
and back – easy peasy!!

C Finally fixed the connection issue from the Amarok to the trailer, so could safely stop,
N turn right and left!

Loved the roof top tent – plenty of room for mum, me, and our dog. Stayed dry through all

the rain showers. Great having so much storage, a kitchen bench, sink, running water
U and drawers… Wonderful having power and the fridge connection overnight. Put out the
L
solar panels when we first set up, unfortunately the rain kicked in not long after.

Set up and pack down of roof top tent was so quick and easy, might have to get one for

the forbie!! Looking forward to our next trip – The Springs on the 23rd March…
