Career Counselling Workshops held during

Academic Session 2021-22

• DPSS-HRDC organized an Online Session-A Roadmap for Undergraduate Pursuits on March 11th,
2022 for the Academic Counselors. This session was about the different career options available for
students after class XII. It threw light upon various conventional and unconventional courses and
the subject combinations which can be opted for by the students while making a choice about their
career paths.
• DPS Society-HRDC organized an orientation program specifically for the Academic Counselors
from Delhi Public schools across India on May 25, 2022. This session was conducted by the experts
from Tel Aviv University and was designed especially for the counselors who can in turn guide the
future aspirants looking for opportunities in International colleges. Resource persons elaborated
about various courses offered at Tel Aviv University, scholarships offered and other details about
the campus.
• On 24th August, 2022 a career counseling workshop was organized in virtual mode by New Age
Careers & 21st Century Skills- An Event by Directorate of Admissions and Academic Outreach
by Amrita School of Engineering with a focus on students with Science background especially the
students from Non-medical stream. The focus of this program was specifically to offer information
about different options and disciplines of engineering available to students after class XII.
• National Guidance Festival 2022 by CBSE in association with Lifology Foundation was organized
between 19th -24th September, 2022 for students and parents across CBSE schools in India and
Middle East in Online Mode. Students from classes VI –XII attended this session. Prominent
personalities and globally renowned educators from various walks of life were the resource persons
for these purposeful sessions. The initiative was aligned with the National Education Policy NEP-
2020 of Government of India. Highlights of the program were ‘How to decide what do you want
to become in future’; ’20 Hours of certified program for being Future Ready/ Career Ready’; ‘Learn
from the best in India and the world’; and 21st Century Skills- Upgrade update and upskill.
• Two days Career Counseling workshop was organized on 20th and 21st of September, 2022 at
Delhi Public School, Jammu for the students of classes IX & XI. Resource Person for this session
Mr. Vaibhav Sharma (Career Coach and Personality Trainer). Purpose of this workshop was to
guide students about various offbeat career options available in today’s competitive world as well as
to motivate students to focus more on becoming job providers instead of job seekers.
• Wellesley Counselor & Educator Information Session was organized on 11th October, 2022 in online
mode for the students and parents of classes IX-XII for information about college admissions at
undergraduate level specifically in U.S. based colleges. Information about the admission procedure
and other details like scholarships, life outside and inside campus was discussed in detail in the
different rooms created during this online session and participants could asked their queries from
the authorized officials as per their requirements.
• A Virtual University Webifair was organized by KIC UnivAssist on 3rd December, 2022. Both
parents and students from classes XI and XII participated in this Online Session. The purpose of
this workshop was to apprise the students about various options available to the students after class
XII in International Universities of U.S., Canada, Japan, Germany and Hong Kong and Italy. Details
and admission procedure for different Undergrad Programs were discussed in by the concerned
officials from 31 Universities.
