PRAYAS CLUB, DPS JAMMU DONATES BOOKS

Thad an opportunity
to do things differently on
Saturday, 10th September, 2022,
when Prayas Club visited two
orphanages at Bal Gran and Bal
Niketan, Jammu, to donate 21
cartons of educational books
and spend some time with
them. Their interaction with
the under-privileged children
strengthened their empathy and
compassion and also helped
them decide that they would
continue to contribute to such
worthy causes when they grow
up. Further, the books donated
to children will help them gain
positive values, increase self-
confidence, boost memory and
their power of imagination.
It is noteworthy that
Prayas, a social outreach
programme of DPS Jammu has
been initiated by the Hon’ble Pro-Vice Chairperson-DPS Jammu, Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh Ji. Its aim is to
undertake social activities by involving students and teachers in several community outreach programmes
to develop the virtue of social responsibility and empathy.
