WORLD HABITAT DAY

D PS Jammu observed ‘World Habitat Day’ on 12th September, 2022. On this occasion students of

Class XII participated in the Soft Board activity on the Topic ‘World Habitat Day.’
Students participated with full enthusiasm and made charts and drawing and displayed
the material on their soft boards inside their respective classrooms. The activity was planned to enlighten
students about accelerating urban action for a carbon-free world as cities are responsible for some 70
percent of global carbon dioxide emissions with transport, buildings, energy, and waste management
accounting for the bulk of urban greenhouse gas emissions.

March, 2022 held at M.A
Stadium, Jammu. The details
of the winners are:-
• Savya Sachi Gupta
(X-E) - Gold medal in
U-17 boys category
• Raghi Verma (XII-G) – Gold medal in open category
• Ananya Sharma (XII-G) – Gold medal in team event and silver medal in Individual U-17 girls
category.
