RAKSHABANDHAN

Rakshabandhan’ or ‘Rakhi’ marks the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one
of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions. To help children cherish their bond with siblings
‘and to familiarize the students with our culture and traditions, Delhi Public School Jammu celebrated
several activities for the students of classes Pre-Nursery to XII to enhance the skills of creativity and
competence among students and nurture their inner talents.
The students of Pre-Primary and Primary wing displayed enthusiastic participation in various
activities like Rakhi-Making, Kite-Making and Collage-Making while the students of classes VI to X
& XII exhibited craftsmanship in Thali decoration, Rakhi making, Collage making and Card making.
Their magnificent work not only showcased their love for their siblings but also made them realize the
importance of siblings in one’s life.
