reach every teen through the adults that help impact and shape their lives. The impact of this work and meeting
aforementioned benchmarks, will help in reducing the number of persons arrested under 18 years of age by 2% in
the next 24 months, with the average annually teen arrest number currently holding over at 850,000 teen arrests a
year and 48,000 kids sitting in lock-up daily, along with the average age that kids can be tried as adults in most
states being 15 years of age. The U.S. has one of youngest, and highest incarceration rate of minors in the world.
Meeting, or succeeding the benchmark of having 17,000 teens engage in meaningful learning experiences through
the entry point of a Life by Design, and by partnering indirectly, and directly with youth organizations modeling
their programs in the likes of programs such as, The Luis Munoz Marin School for Social Justice; Advance Peace;
Center for Employment Opportunities; Manifest Works; The Arts for Incarcerated Youth; and The National Juvenile
Justice Network will allow for stories, reports, and case studies to be develop showing the impact of Life by Design
approaches and spaces in their local communities.
Real-World Laboratory for Learning:
JMAT4youth.org Online interactive development programs provide training and a community of support to youth
by imploring the Life by Design programs, such as its “Skills Connection”; “Valued Outcomes”; “Exploration Art”;
“One to One Tutor Connected”, and “Summer Escapes”, through Online and Off-line interactive learning models.
Our Valued Outcomes Key to Life Management Curriculum, uses the fiction novel "The Jazzsipper", which has Jazz
as a back drop to this urban American story. Reading it is a prerequisite to attending the Value Outcome Online
interactive youth mentoring program. Closing out JMAT4youth.org Real-World Laboratory for Learning, is the
Money Management Skills for Youth component, that is incorporated in the Valued Outcomes Key to Life
Management Curriculum.

Training, and Artistic Development Seminars, and workshops through Pre-college summer programs such as:
1. Jazz at Lincoln Center's Summer Jazz Academy in New York City a 2-week residential high school

. welcome student jazz ensembles of all varieties and engage them in high quality and inspiring clinics
. with renowned musicians and educators.
2. The LEAP Foundation LEAP Leadership Training, a full week dedicated at UCLA Campus to helping
young adults uncover the “real-life” skills needed to achieve great success.
3. Savannah College of Art and Design Artistic Development SCAD Summer Seminars at its Savanah,
Atlanta Ga. And Hong Kong Campuses. In this weeklong session, students will connect with fellow
creatives as they begin the path to college and their dream careers. Students choose two workshops
from a host of academic programs, including animation, fashion, film and television, jewelry,
photography and more.
JMAT 4 Youth Launches Exciting New Small Community Organizations Strategic Alliance Initiative
As part of its mission to build a Life by Design for its Federation Organization youth membership, JMAT 4 Youth
has launched an exciting new initiative of developing Small Community Organizations through strategic
alliances working with interest groups, sports groups, church groups, high school groups, and social media
community’s groups. Organizations can now organize their youth members with a Group Advisor/Coordinator
to take advantage of all the wonderful membership benefits which JMAT 4 Youth Federation umbrella offers.
