FIRST AID, WORK SAFE, IMPAIRMENT

PROVIDE BASIC LIFE SUPPORT

FACE TO FACE
$POA PP Basic Life Support is a 4hr course based on NZQA unit standard 6402 requirements.
This course is the most basic and focuses on CPR, choking and controlling life-threatening
bleeding.
All learners will be assessed on CPR for adults or children and infants, choking for adults or
children and infants and controlling of severe bleeding and treatment of shock. All assessments
are scenario based where learners must demonstrate their knowledge.

• Eligible for NZQA unit standards 6402.
• Meets WorkSafe NZ requirements for first aid training.
• It will give you a Basic Life Support certificate that is
valid for 2 years

FIRST AID REFRESHER
Level - N/A Credits - N/A Duration - 6.5hrs
FACE TO FACE
$154 PP Keep first-aid skills sharp and compliant.

A concise update course for those holding a current certificate (valid within the past three
months of expiry). Learners practise realistic CPR and emergency scenarios, ensuring they
remain confident and WorkSafe NZ-compliant. The refreshed certificate is valid for two years.

- Learners can only refresh their current First Aid Cert which has not expired for more than 3
months. Please supply a copy of your current FIrst Aid Certificate when making your booking.
