WHAT ARE MICRO-CREDENTIALS?
ITS Micro-Credentials are purposeful, medium-length programmes (20 credits) that bring essential skills together in one
cohesive course. We offer six focused options – Employability, Hospitality, Service Industries, Food & Beverage, Café &
Customer Service, and Core Service Sector Skills – all proudly designed and delivered by ITS.

They’re a strong way for ākonga to upskill, build confidence, and show employers their workplace-ready capabilities. Each
Micro-Credential aligns with recognised pathways across Aotearoa.

Choose the delivery style that suits your group: Face-to-Face or Correspondence. Course length is flexible and can be shaped
around your timetable or kaupapa.

We provide ongoing support, ensuring every learner feels set up for success.

CORRESPONDENCE ONLINE:
Your ākonga will feel fully supported as they work through our uniquely crafted learning packages, each built around NZQA
unit standards. Gain practical, real-world skills that are recognised and valued in workplaces and everyday life — and achieve
meaningful results alongside others on the same journey.
Includes:
• All student learning and assessment material online with 8-weeks to successfully complete
• Marking of assessments
• Support from our tutors for ākonga at any time through our Student Help Desk Email:
support@its.ac.nz
• Admin support for a school is always available on schools@its.ac.nz
• Timely marking of assessments (within three weeks) + a free re-sit of an assessment [if required]
• E-Certificate for Micro-Credentials
Not included:
• Print/Pack/Post - The cost for printed course packs is $21.95 excl gst per learner per course
• Printed certificates for Individual units - $15 excl gst per certificate
