(406)883-1919 Road to theTower:
50599 Hwy 93
Between Town Pump & Burgerville Just up highway 93 is J-2000 Road, which has many trails right
off of the road all the way up to the top. You could start at the
bottom and wind your way up the 10 miles to the Tower, or you
could find a tucked away trail along the road and trek as far as
your heart desires. This is one of my favorite places to jog
because you can make it as long or short as you want to! Stay
animal-aware and make a few loud “bear calls” while you’re
trekking along.
Directions: From Elements Tipis driveway, turn right. Turn right
again at Flathead View Drive. Turn left onto highway 93 and
drive approximately 2.5 miles where you’ll see an unmarked,
dirt road. This is J-2000. There’s a cattle guard almost
immediately after turning onto J-2000. From here it’s 10 miles to
the Tower at the top. You can park your vehicle at the top and
• Fresh Produce • Plants
• Baked Goods • Cut Flowers walk South approximately 100 feet too see a beautiful view of
• Arts & Crafts • Cheese Flathead Lake, Mission Mountains and Polson, MT. You might
• Honey & Eggs • Jams & Jellies even be able to see your campsite!
~ And Much More! ~ White Swan Hills:
3rd Avenue West Down Town Polson This spot is also unmarked, but very close and very easy to get
Fridays 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM to. There are many places with a view along the trek, but the
ultimate destination along the trail offers one of the most vast
and astonishing views of Flathead Lake I’ve found nearby. It is
approximately 5-6 miles to this spot from the trailhead.
Directions:
From Elements Tipis driveway, turn right. Turn right again at
Flathead View Drive. Turn left onto highway 93 and drive
approximately 1 mile where you’ll take a right turn onto Bull Pine
Road. From Bull Pine Road turn left onto Meadow Road and
drive about 2 miles or less and then turn right onto Canyon View
Drive. Once on Canyon View Drive, just before the sharp right
curve in the road, you’ll see a city water/electric building and a
nice size area to park. Once parked walk passed the large
metal, locked gate and sizable boulder to continue along the
(406)872-4400 trail. To get to the view mentioned above, take the first sharp
right in the trail a little less than a mile from the start. This winds
Open 10:30AM - 11PM Sun. - Thurs. around, goes up a steep hill and then winds around the White
10:30AM - 12AM Fri. & Sat. Swan hills until you get to the view.
As always, Stay animal-aware and make a few loud “bear calls”
