Green Mountain, Green Mountain, it’s been here since time past countin’ peace by day - real cool at night, Green Mountain is OUT OF SIGHT!
Of course Saffron couldn’t really hear all those words at the time, but she asked her brother for a copy of the lyrics. He had written it late at night, when he was all fired up by the spotlighting expedition and couldn’t sleep. Some of the rhymes were a bit suss, like the houses and mouses one, but it made a good song.
