Ø Professional Services Industry Group held 2 events, Healthcare,
Construction, and IT Industry Groups held 1 meeting each during each
quarter and Marketing held 1 meeting this year. Over 300 MBE's attended
     industry group sessions during 2016.

Ø MBEIC held two major MBE events. One was an MBE 2 MBE mixer where
we shared our Playbill of MBE leadership and focus for 2016. The second
was our joint MBE and SDPWG panel of Buying Entities followed by
roundtable opportunity discussions. This involved MBEs engaged in
discussions on upcoming opportunities and encouraged MBE to
     MBE spending.

Ø MBEIC supported and assisted in the “Emerging Technology Trends”
events hosted by the ISCWG. Two were held with exciting topics around
IoE (Internet of Everything) and Dallas as a Smart /Resilient City. These
two events were attended by over 160 MBEs and provided a continued
focus on learning and adjusting to meet the future needs of North
     Texas.

Ø MBE's participated in three Quarterly Buyers Appreciation Luncheon.
We've seen a growth in MBE attendance, all ready to do business and to
congratulate and encourage our buying entities to focus on our “Buy Those
that Buy Us” initiative. We held an MBE Innovation Showcase during the
3rd Quarterly Buyers Appreciation Luncheon where 10 MBE's
     participated.

Ø We also had great attendance at both Access 2016 and E-Awards.
Ø The MBEIC Chair attended all four National MBEIC events and reported

back the national sentiment and opportunities to the board and MBEIC
leadership. The MBEIC Chair also participated on several committees and
panels for the National MBEIC on business opportunities, building capacity
