Thermowells are recommended for use in food processing to both pro-
tect the thermometer from damage as well as enable removal of the
thermometer for replacement or repair without affecting processing.
We carry thermowells designed to accept either 2 1 ⁄2" or 4" stem ther-
mometers. They are manufactured from Type 316 Stainless Steel and
feature 3 ⁄4" Male Pipe (NPT) process connections for easy attachment
to our Compact Female Pipe Clamp Adapters. Instrument connections
are 1 ⁄2" Female Pipe (NPT).
