"CERTIFICATE OF MERIT" award at National Level Performance Awards for CPWD, PHED
& State PWDs Buildings Sector during "Bureau of Energy Efficiency - National Energy
Conservation Awards - 2019" organized by Ministry of Power, Govt. of India. It was received
by PCEE/SCR, DRM/HYB, SSE/HT and SSE/CKL from Shri R.K.Singh, Honourable
MoS/Power on 14.12.2019.

 Commissioning of Solar On grid plants over Hyderabad Division:

Railways has taken Green initiative to provide the solar power plants on the roof top
of Railway Stations, sheds and other service buildings through Power Purchase
Agreement (PPA) @ Rs.4.99/- per unit (kWh) on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and
Transfer (DBFOT) basis with the objective of Generating and supplying Energy to Railway
Installations. 1560 kWp Solar Plants have been commissioned over Hyderabad Division
in 2018-19 by M/s. Renew Solar Power Systems and 100kWp by M/s. Azure Power in
2019-20 as a part of the National solar mission of the Govt. of India.

Solar Plants installed departmentally: 252.64 kWp
Solar Plants installed through PPA mode: 1660 kWp

 Replacement/Repairs to defective Solar inverters:

 Rail House/SC:
The solar inverter at Rail House/SC was defective and same
has been replaced with a new one against DS-8.
Details of new Inverter:
Make: Sun Energy System, Cap: 10KVA/120V.
Generation is about 24-30 units / day.

 BSX and KMC Stations:
The solar grid tie units (inverter) of SGTU-105
Model, 5 KW were repaired by replacing the control
PCB and LCD power PCB at both BSX and KMC
stations through M/s. Techno Instruments &
Controls. On an average these plants are generating
15 - 16 units/day and the information on generation
is being uploaded every day in HQ‟s Google sheet. Inverters at BSX station
