After the appropriate manager makes a conclusion about the outcome of the investigation, the decision must be communicated to the complaining employee and to the accused. The notification can be a simple as a finding that no violation of company policy occurred, or that there has been some conduct and
it is being addressed. The complaining employee should be assured that he/she will not be subjected to retaliation, and that any retaliation or further harassment should be reported immediately.
