Gas Struts are available from stock in various diameters in the Stroke
adjustable form. They are pressurised to the maximum force for Stroke Extended length (stud xing)
that Strut size. Gas can be released via a bleed valve, accessible Extended length (stud xing)
from the side, which allows gas to be vented, hence reducing the

6-15 60 160 Adjustable 1. Mount gas strut on the application with the rod pointing
6-15 100 240 Adjustable downwards and the valve at the top.
6-15 150 340 Adjustable 2. The gas strut will probably have more force than required so
8-18 100 250 Adjustable do not attempt to force the door or lid shut.
8-18 150 350 Adjustable 3. Insert an allen key into the grub screw on the valve. Undo
8-18 200 450 Adjustable slightly until the sound of gas escaping is heard. Quickly HANDLES

DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.
