H.WEXTER (1969)
A job that required a higher risk tolerance in 1969 was being a
reporter as they can be found with the police in sometimes life-
threatening situations given the fact that there wasn’t the
technology that we had at our current time to keep them within
a safe distance from danger
In 1969 Chicago seen as more of the white culture as young
children’s would be running around in the streets unlike our day
today.
Just like any other place in the world, darker skin people in
1969 was not treated equally by the police in which they gave
them a harder time to live there every day life.
When it comes to safety the time of the day played a huge role
in which during the times there is a higher risk four people to
carry firearms which can be used as a lethal weapon. Reporters
had to take that into consideration before deciding to go on
site to cover certain news aspect.
A lot of darker elements in the society was showing during that
time such as drugs and gangs for example would roam into the
streets which is one of the biggest factors of violence between
civilians and police officers.
