TRIBORE COMPETITION (1922)

The competition was the beginning of the skyscraper buildings

which created history and then followed post World War II in
the 1950s when it really took off.

                                                       SETTING

Chicago houses mostly long and tall skyscrapers and it’s
surrounded by great Lakes which can cause major discomfort

during the winter season as those building creates tunnels for

The coal northern winds to pass through.

The dry climate played a role behind the fire that happened in

downtown Chicago in 1871 as it acted as fuel for when the
downtown burned down and had to be rebuilt, restructured, and

protected by using more durable construction materials to avoid

anything similar to happen anytime in the future.

                                               TRANSPORTATION

A year prior to the fire that occurred in downtown Chicago in

the 1870s a new transportation system what is developed
consisting of a rail line intersecting from east to west for

people to commute to work which also loops around the city

creating a continuous trip that people can take despite where
               the location is.
