Open Homes and Viewings
When having an Open Home or Viewing it is important to keep the following in
mind, if you have pets just remember that not everyone are animal people, it is
advisable to take them away from the house during viewings if possible and
store their bowls and toys prior. Remember to air out the house, take out the
rubbish and put away dishes. It is also important to put away any valuable items
such as personal photos, fridge magnets, jewelry to keep away any temptation.
A few final touches can also help your house feel more homely and fresh such
as displaying fresh flowers, lighting a scented candle, essential oils or using a
pleasant fragrance disburser, playing some easy listening music in the
background, but keeping the volume on low. However, be careful not to go too
over the top.
Your Salesperson will talk to you about our Health and Safety procedures and
they will make sure your home is compliant with our Health and Safety
standards to keep potential buyers who view your home safe as well as you
and our Salespeople.
There are a few things you will need to do to keep everyone safe while at your
home some things like fixing any loose hand rails, getting rid of any slippery
moss on foot paths or driveways, making sure any pools and/or spa pools are
fenced off and remove dogs off the property when potential buyers are going
to view your home.
