Mid UK Recycling       Driver Risk Assessment & Safe System of Work




    Whilst the tipper is in operation the driver must always be aware over the

    tipping process and of the surrounding area, this includes “above the
    trailer”.


    SEE the Danger Zone Risk Assessment (DZRA)





    The speed of the tip can be increased by pressing the accelerator.


    During the tipping operation the driver can pull forwards very slowly to

    allow the load to tip without causing a build-up and blocking the rear of
    the trailer.


    Drivers must be always aware of the surrounding (Tipping) area.





    Once the tip is completed the driver must lower the trailer and disengage the PTO.
