Mid UK Recycling Driver Risk Assessment & Safe System of Work
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES:
Once fully tipped stop the walking floor by turning off the PTO.
If you need to go into the trailer, you MUST ensure the walking floor
has stopped.
You MUST NEVER go behind the trailer during the unloading process.
The driver MUST remain in the cab during loading & Unloading
unless using the walk on control box.
Care must be taken when opening the rear doors making sure you
stand well clear of the door swing and be aware of any potential
loose material or strong winds that may potentially cause the door to
swing unpredictably causing injury.
Ensure that if the trailer load is being tipped into a pit the driver
must stop well short of the pit and RASSoW 15Q
