Mid UK Recycling Driver Risk Assessment & Safe System of Work
Tipping Skips on Site :
If the contents of the skip do not come out
first time, the operator is to shake the skip
using the controls for the mechanical arms.
Under no circumstances are the operators
to put their hands or arms into the skip
to free a load.
If after shaking the skip the contents do not
come out, then the operator is to contact
the site manager/supervisor and seek
advice. Failing this the operator is to
contact the transport office.
