C. Isabelle "Belle" Stevens

OBITUARY

She was the wife of the late Earle Franklin Stevens. Born March 1, 1909, in Doubs, she was the
daughter of the late George Edgar and Sadie Alberta Cornwell Gregg. Mrs. Stevens and her late
husband operated Steve & Belle's Restaurant in Damascus, from 1957 to 1978. She was a member of
Liberty Baptist Church, Lisbon.

Surviving is one son, Earle Richard Stevens and wife Cheryl of Frederick; four grandchildren,
Carrie Seibert and husband Darren of New Market, and Mary, Edith and Katricia Stevens, all of
Clarksburg; two great-grandchildren, Luke Siebert and Declan Stevens; one stepson, Lowell

Stevens of Frederick; one step-grandson, David Roesle of Frederick; and one brother, Clarence
Gregg of Merritt Island, Fla.

Mrs. Stevens will also be remembered by special friends, Edward and Ethel Daugherty, and Mary
Jane and Fred Eidinger.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, at Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home, 26401
Ridge Road, Damascus, where funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12.

MARCH 1, 1909 – AUG. 8, 1998

Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mount Airy.
