Maybe you had a private conversation with the person causing the problem,
maybe you weighed the pros and cons, maybe you gathered data to evaluate to
inform your decision, or maybe you more clearly explained the positives that
would come from this decision. Walk them through the process.
Result –
What happened as a result of your decision? Was it the right decision? Did the
situation get better?
Ideally, this is where you explain the triumphant happy ending to your story
where everybody came around to your way of thinking, and maybe you even were
recognized for your action. Or, maybe this is where you got fired, and this is your
chance to tell the story.
