Description of procedures adopted in the production of instructional materials.
The dearth and prohibitive cost of textbooks and other instructional materials necessitated the
development of teacher-made instructional materials. To hone the teacher’s ability to develop his own
instructional materials and devices, the following strategies were employed:
▪
▪ ▪ Creation of an Instructional Material Development Committee composed of College
Instructional Material Coordinators to review print and non- print teacher-made materials
▪
▪ ▪ Workshop on Instructional Materials Development for teachers on instructional material were
conducted. These were sponsored by the Instructional Material Development Committee and
Office of the Director for Instruction and the chairman Instructional Material Development
Committee.
▪ ▪ ▪ Submission of Teacher-made instructional materials such as syllabi, modules, power point
presentations, models, transparencies, and other print and non-print devices.
