➢ Description of a system of validating and/or improving tests and other evaluation instruments.
Monitoring and evaluation measures are employed to ensure that the students’ performance meet
expected outcomes. The students are exposed to different methods of assessing performance in class. The
teachers employ several methods to evaluate the performance of students, to wit:
▪ Conduct of written examinations to assess higher order thinking skills (HOTS)
▪ Conduct of summative tests such as prelim, midterm, and final examinations
▪ Conduct of research
▪ Construction of computer-based tests
▪ Term papers
▪ Other evaluative measures such as reports, reflection and term paper
