United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon
has identified Sustainable Development as his
top priority during his second term as head of
the United Nations. United Nations Sustainable
Development Solutions Network (UN SDSN) was
commissioned and launched by the Secretary
General on 9 August 2012, to engage scientists,
th
engineers, business, civil society leaders and
development practitioners for practical, evidence-
based problem solving at the local, national, and
global scale.
The SDSN accelerates joint learning and aims to
help to overcome the compartmentalization of
technical and policy work by promoting integrated
approaches to the interconnected economic,
social and environmental challenges confronting
the world. The Creative Campus is honored to
have been selected as the official South-East
Asia Hub for the United Nations Sustainable
Development Solutions Network (SDSN-SEA).
