Problems
The Indian farmer is still not aware of the technologies that have been developed.
The farmers are illiterate and it becomes difficult to understand the use of technology.
Moreover, the farmers are poor and cannot afford modern means.
So we have the existence of both traditional and modern sector in Indian agriculture.
Conclusion
It is said that by 2050, the population of the world will reach 9 billion people and that
means the demand for food is only going to increase. We need improved techniques
in agriculture to improve and increase productivity.
In India, the government is although focusing on the agriculture sector but there is a
dualism in India. We still have farmers who are dependent on traditional methods
that create this dualism.
We still have a long way to go. But we are only going further!
