performance. We have to remember that, we can replicate the mock-
test performance during the real exam only when we learn to handle
the stress effectively and believe in ourselves.
So, what is the way out? How to handle exam pressure?
For this first of all you will have to alter your perceptions towards
examinations. You need to understand and believe that the qualities
you are acquiring are going to stay with you forever.
It would be best if you do not have this mentality that “I am improving
myself or acquiring such qualities only for the sake of my exams and
career.”
Some people are habituated to take stress in each and every
situation. For them, an exam is an event which comes with loads of

this world. Some people harbor a fear of losing their loved ones,
some people are afraid of something unknown, while others are

getting away from the fear that exams bring with it. Try saying “No” to
everything that scares you. When you deny to be intimidated or
fearful, nothing can stop you from achieving your goal. Ayivor again,

rivers. Yes, you are! And each of those rivers contain crocodiles that
may attempt to intimidate you. Never be afraid; sail on and you will
get there.”
Once, Sir Edmund Hillary, the first man to climb Mount Everest, was
asked how did he conquer the Everest? He said, “it is not the
mountain we conquer but ourselves.” How right he was!
