NOTE FROM HOD - EHS

                         Satheesh NT

                         HOD – EHS

        Dear MPW – IND Team,

We shall be formally implementing Environmental Management system and Occupational Health and safety Management
system for our organisation and apply for certification of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 respectively. As we have
established most of the system requirements already expect a smooth progress in both office and works. We HSE team
request everyone 's support and guidance.

As we are building improvement cultured organisation, every personnel's involvement in improving the Occupational Health
& Safety and environmental level is important. It's expected to everyone to contribute with HSE kaizens, identifying Unsafe
act/ Condition and report and resolve near misses. Please remember even a minor contribution can help to save a life.

We had undergone the environmental audit by the Japan (HO) in last month and waiting the for the results to be
communicated. As we are into the energy sector and dealing with fossil fuels, we must think in advance about environmental
burden factors to save the environment and our business.

In general, the Indian construction industry operates with 55% of unskilled labour, 30% semi-skilled and 15% skilled labour,
our responsibility as a primary contractor, protecting those unskilled and semi-skilled workers are very vital. We need to
understand the behaviour patterns of the group of the people employed and identify the hazards relevance with the workers
behaviours. BBS is an important tool to improve the safety level in unskilled labour area. We all need to get trained on the
Behaviour Based Safety and practise sensibly. The engineers involved in preparing HIRA and JSA always study the behaviours
of the workers before preparing them.
