Once upon a time in a small New England
town lived a little girl named Diane. Diane
was a special girl you see. She had great big
brown eyes, long dark hair, and a smile that
would brighten the entire room. Her mom
and dad said she looked like a little angel.
Being special, Diane was not like all the
other children. She didn’t speak clearly, she
didn’t run as fast, and it took her longer to
do her school work. Diane, however, never
seemed bothered by these differences.
Diane was bright, happy, and very much in
love with her family. Diane had the gift of
love. She shared it with everyone she met.
