When you walked through the door you
could feel Christmas. The house was filled
with homemade decorations that reminded
you of Christmases long ago
Red ribbons and bows, colorful lights, and
shiny tinsel decorated this festive dwelling.
The family stockings were hung carefully
along a big brown banister that led to the
rooms upstairs.
Old silver bells would chime when
someone opened the back porch door.
