EMPOWERING Dreams,

                                          Igniting POSSIBILITIES

                                                  CAMPAIGN

Road To Responsibility has been serving the mission of “Making Lives Better” for countless
individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, emotional/behavioral challenges,
and complex medical needs since it began its operations nearly four decades ago. Currently,

RTR operates 49 residences, co-operative and supportive living apartments, and manages
nine day service locations focusing on education, employment, and community enrichment.
Nearly 110 towns and communities throughout the South Shore and Southeastern
Massachusetts have experienced RTR’s lasting impact.

To provide the means, the opportunity, and the support necessary to allow citizens with
disabilities to take their place as productive members of the community, RTR delivers four
core services, each addressing a different need. Its efforts are transforming the South Shore

and southeastern region of Massachusetts in many ways. RTR provides critical support and
peace of mind to over 1100 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and
their families annually through the services it provides.

            • Day Habilitation Services (Its Open Roads programs).
            • Opportunities for Positive Transitional Services (Community Based Day Services).

            • Employment Services (group and individual)
            • Services (24-hr. group homes, Supported Apartments, and Shared Living).

Even with all the incredible work RTR does for the community, there are limitations to the
services that can be provided due to funding constraints. An endowment will preserve access
to vital services, open new opportunities and create a financial safety net for the organization

to secure its Mission against unexpected challenges.
