Good evening,

Thank you for gathering this fall evening to support our
Creative Arts Therapies program. I am deeply fortunate
to work alongside this team of talented music and dance
therapists and yoga instructors, and even more fortunate
to be a part of the lives of the individuals we serve. If
you are reading this, surely you already recognize the
importance of the arts in our society. Throughout the

pandemic, the rest of the world also woke up to this
fact, as we relied on music, art, television, theater, and
literature to keep us connected throughout a period
of isolation. This was even more crucial for our most
vulnerable neighbors, including seniors. Your generosity
allows us to continue meeting individuals where they
are in all aspects of life, no matter the circumstances. On
behalf of the entire SSC community, we appreciate you
and hope you have a wonderful evening experiencing all

our CAT family has to offer!
