The Plymouth Public Plymouth Public
Library Foundation Guild
Welcome to the many wonderful folks that chose to become
inaugural members of the Plymouth Public Library Foundation
Guild. This august group of like-minded people have decided that
our Library is worthy of both their financial support and equally if
not more important, their time. Together we are celebrating all that
makes this Library unique and enjoying each other’s company at the
same time!
Guild Members move mountains, or better yet, move resources
to enable our staff to provide extraordinary programming, access
to the latest technology, lovely lawns and gardens and give the
support needed to ensure that our Literacy Program remains one
of the best in New England. Guild members provide significant
funding to help the Library realize visionary goals and ensure Library
patrons continue to enjoy the best the Library has to offer for years
to come.
During our introductory year, Guild members attended our first
“Library After Dark” and spent an evening discovering all the
treasures in this wonderful building. The evening was such a success
that we hope to repeat it this year with a few new surprises. In
August, Guild members were treated to a special dinner al fresco in
the Library’s Dr. Richard M. Shiff Garden along with our friends from
the Plymouth Philharmonic.
We are grateful to our Guild Members and invite you to join their
ranks! Meet like-minded new friends, learn more about the Library,
and have fun at the same time by joining Plymouth Public Library
Guild. Guild membership requires a tax-deductible donation of $500
to our Annual Fund or Literacy Program, per year or $42 per month,
and grants access to special events.
