Right throughout the year Cobh Tourism delivers engaging and relevant posts on
Facebook and Twitter.

Our top performing posts included a video the Christmas Day Swim from Cuskinny,
the visit to Cobh of Disney Magic, the launch of the Ocean Escapes ferry service, the
White Star Line Flag flying at half mast in The Promenade to mark the Titanic com-
memoration and our new Cobh video which reached 100,000 people on Facebook
alone
A BANDSTAND WITH MUSIC!
There was free entertainment on the bandstand in
The Promenade every Sunday throughout the dry
warm summer of 2018. Cobh Tourism booked and part
funded 14 acts with grant assistance from Cobh Mu-
nicipal District. This was in addition to the many other
Festivals and Events organised by other groups.

It really is true that there is always something on in
Cobh on Summer Sundays and that the Promenade is a great place to relax and
unwind, take in the views and listen to some great music.

Cobh Tourism was delighted to work with local production company Isla Media to
produce a unique video to promote Cobh. It succinctly captures the essence of
Cobh, encouraging the viewer to discover all that there is to see and do in Cobh and
Cork Harbour. It reached 100,000 people on Facebook alone.

TOURISM AMBASSADORS
Cobh was one of the first towns in Ireland to have a Tour-
ism Ambassador Programme. Our volunteers welcome
tourists and provide local knowledge of all that there is to
see and do in Cobh. New volunteers who could normally
spare 2 hours a week who would enjoy meeting visitors
and have a love of all things Cobh are always welcome
