Jackie’s Cruise News
I am delighted to be sharing my love of all things Cruise with the people of Cobh. What a year
it has been for Cobh with over a 100 Cruise ships visiting our
shores and I have been very lucky to be able to get onboard
some of these liners and to bring along valued customers and
prizewinners. I honestly cannot pick a favourite out of all the
ships I have been on this year as they each are individual and
offer a variety of facilities to customers. One of the highlights
I think for me was to meet the Irish Captain and get a tour of
the Bridge onboard Cunard’s Queen Victoria. 2018 also saw
the Cobh departures on CMV Magellan and already the feed-
back from customers has been great so 2019 and 2020 looks
promising for more departures.....more details on these over
the next few weeks!
How fantastic to be able to embark in your own hometown and
head off on a Cruise.
My big news as that I am “Jumping Ship” and moving closer to my valued Cobh customers
and will be taking up a position of Cruise Manager in East Cork Travel in Midleton. After 21
years of commuting to the city, I felt I needed a change and I am excited for this new chap-
ter.
So I am looking forward to sharing all my Cruise knowledge and news with you and watch
this space for competitions for ship visits for 2019!
