The staff & management of Garveys Supervalu would like to thank every one who helped out
at our recent spinathon in association with The Great Island 4Peaks Challenge 2019 in aid of
the Mercy Hospital Foundation Cork
It was a fantastic day from start to finish and well done to all the spinners, local sporting clubs
and nutritional advisors who joined us on the day. Thanks to Anita & the team at Spin Shack
for the use of their bikes and there most enjoyable classes and also DJ Flea who was on the
decks for the 12hrs. Great to see such wonderful community spirit for such an amazing cause.
Just over €3000 was raised on the day and donations are still coming in. All money raised
will be donated towards Poons Service which does amazing work. Well done everyone.

Congratulations to Sorcha McKeown from Norwood Court in Cobh who was
crowned Miss Cork 2019 at the annual event in Fota Resort Hotel last Saturday 9th
March.
Sorcha now goes on to represent Cork at the Miss Ireland 2019 final.
