COBH CARILLON RECITALS
30 September: the season concludes with a special recital by resident carillonneur Adrian
Gebruers to mark the 150th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone of St Colman’s
Cathedral.
These recitals are presented by the Cobh Carillon Committee and grant aided by the Arts
Council and the Cork County Council.

Volunteers Needed for Citizens Information Centre
Through our Citizens Information Centre located in the Parish Centre, Roches Row, Cobh, we
provide individuals with easy access to the highest quality information and advice on public
services including rights and entitlements. We do this in a clear and comprehensive manner,
and most importantly, in confidence.
We are looking for volunteers to join our team in Cobh Ideally we’re looking for caring, re-
sourceful people who are comfortable in an office environment, with good listening & adminis-
trative and computer skills,
Volunteers need to have three hours to spare each week, mornings and/or afternoons with
an initial commitment of one year. We offer applicants full training and support to become
proficient in information provision; the opportunity to meet new people in a friendly rewarding
environment; and most of all the opportunity to help others.
