CONDITIONALS WITH IMPERATIVES
Imperatives can be used in
conditional sentences. The “if” SITUATION SUGGESTED ACTION
clause describes a hypothetical
situation and the imperative
clause describes what someone
should do if that hypothetical
situation actually happens.
