WHY AND WHY NOW












 Based on these factors, the Strategic Plan was crafted as a blueprint for the Club to meet goals that speak to
 its Vision and Mission.  The Strategic Plan focuses on the following Key areas:


 1. Achieve status as a top-tiered area private family-oriented country club in South Georgia.

 2. Procure and retain a quality staff to continue offering the finest service to members.


 3. Continue to maintain and improve the facilities so that they are always the highest quality.

 4. Maintain effective Board governance and improve communication with the membership.

 5. Maintain a strong operational financial position, including the funding of future capital projects.


 6. Continue to attract quality applicants to maintain a strong congenial membership base and to
 achieve a membership waitlist.





 Increasing Member Utilization and Satisfaction


 The Valdosta Country Club has over one hundred years of history filled with rich traditions and precious

 memories that span generations.  While VCC offers enjoyable social, dining, tennis, golf and fitness amenities,

 what makes the Club a truly special place, is the membership.  As we plan for the future, the Board and Club
 leadership’s top priority is to continually enhance the member experience so that we may further enrich our

 members’ lives and remain relevant within their family finances.  This means continuing to adapt to

 changing member needs and preferences in order to provide more opportunities for members to utilize a

 Club they hold so dear.


 Successful, thriving clubs are those who routinely invest capital dollars for needed and desired improvements

 to make their first-class facilities more relevant for their members. The Valdosta Country Club has seen this
 firsthand.  Most recently, the pool snack bar renovation in 2018 was followed with a surge in member usage

 and demand by prospective members.
