PHASE ONE - GOLF COURSE
The condition of the cart paths has been a
widely discussed topic here at the Club.
There is no debate that they are in
disrepair in most areas of the course. The
soil substance and low-lying areas of most
of the course here at the Club must have
a useable path to avoid damage to the
course and steer traffic away from
sensitive areas. Repair is needed to better
capture and divert water during heavy
rains. The need to steer water into
drainage basins away from key playing
surfaces is critical.
Many areas of the golf course have become unplayable
because the healthy turfgrass has given way to erosion. Areas
with moving water, lack of turf, exposed roots and steep slopes
are all concerns here at the Club. We also deal with many high
traffic areas including walk ups to tee boxes and greens that
are all in disrepair. Fixing these areas will help make the
Member experience much more enjoyable and increase
playability of the golf course.
