                                                                           277

Just then another group of colorfully-clad singers marched
              in.
“Now what? I thought it was over.”
“Oh, these are the people who tested the new edition. Their
chorus is an operatic version of ‘Pick a Little, Talk a Little, Pick,
Pick Pick..’ It’s very important and is being very well sung by
David Cram, Ann Parkman, Seth Leibler, Lola Lollapalooza
(Eileen Mager), John Gaylord, Dan Raymond, Marianne
              Hoffman, and Paul Whitmore.
“Quite a handsome group, wouldn’t you say?”
“Look. Here’s the grand finale. The writer has assembled all
the contributors into his den . . .”
                 “Big den.”
“Artistic license. He’s describing their important contribu-
tions to the development of the book and is singing the prais-
es of each in turn. He’s imploring the audience to stand in awe
at their assistance and to applaud their generosity until their
hands turn red. Let’s join in.”
                 And so they did.
