The savor of the colored paintings that contain heartfelt longing in ceramics
The works of Korean painter Kang Myung-ja clearly highlight the subject. She projects the growth and story of flowers, the
mystery of a woman, and a godly faith in her work. In her previous work, which showed her heart, she attempts an essay-like
psychological transition to ceramics
Kang Myung-ja's work is expressed in the technique of Korean painting by combining the lines of the nasturtium with the
brilliant jade color of ceramics. Reminiscent of her mother, she paints beautiful flowers on ramie patch work. Her works,
transcending time and space, seem realistic and simultaneously show a fantasy world.
As the lines and colors change, pottery and nasturtiums show the "different quality of discrimination" of reflection and view.
Works created with skilled and sophisticated techniques possess a free spirit. The artist prepares for autumn while feeling
the depth of autumn. The symbols hidden in the discourse are the elements that make her work mysterious.
She contemplates her inner self and develops emotions in her heart through a conversation with flowers. Her imagination
always purifies herself and uses it as a tool to live a right life. The romantic lyrics around her are feminine. Her paintings are
the images at her heart and they are representations of a wise woman.
Her works which have brought happiness through her peaceful thoughts reveal the present, blessed by the past. Her
paintings give the feeling of a neat table. Traditional pottery is made with wise and discreet craftsmanship. There is a Korean
spirit in it. The elegant and bright form is the living image of our people.
The artist's works resonate with subtle emotions and feelings in a calming manner. The description of colors that bring the
tradition to the present day and the relaxing scenery that embraces the digital age evokes admiration. These are pictures of
fascination that seem to continue stories even after the season.
