Congratulatory Remarks

My heartiest congratulations to the Organizing Committee for Myeong-dong International Art Festival on holding
the 8th Myeong-dong International Art Festival(MIAF 2023), in Myeong-dong, the Korean capital, Seoul. I’m so
proud of joining in this global event.

As everyone knows, Korean people worship particularly culture and art. We have achieved the steady growth and
development based on our own natural bents. As a result, We Koreans heightened the consciousness and pride as
the high-class cultural nation and stood out in the world. I’m so proud of all theses things Koreans has achieved.

Moreover, we are living in times united with beautiful culture and art in spite of different customs and languages.
Also, beautiful culture and art is the spiritual value and enjoyment which can not be bound by political ideology
or anything.

I’m sure that the 8th Myeong-dong International Art Festival(MIAF 2023) will offer the opportunity to show off
the Korean new cultural consciousness to the world and heighten the pride of the cultural nation.
